I printed out these images of candle magick color correspondences and added them to my Book of Shadows some time ago, they’re chock full of info. (Sadly, they’re from from a now-defunct website.) Now I’m sharing them here. (Also in case they ever disappear from Pinterest, where I originally found them.)
Serenitism.
So for years now, I’ve been interested in Pop Culture Paganism, particularly in the path of Serenitism, which is based on the anime “Sailor Moon”. (Which I’ve been a fan of since my junior high years.) And lately, I’ve been bitten by the interest bug again, thinking about invoking the Sailor Scouts in prayer and spellwork.
Where to start though? On Tumblr. Below is a list of Serenitism-based blogs I found (old, but still have info to sift through) and a list of spells (found elsewhere) which may be useful:
•

• templeofserenity (the archive, in case Tumblr blocks loading the blog fully)

The Power Of Prayer.
I once read somewhere that prayers are effective because they contain the power of many years of people praying them. An example that was given was of a non-Catholic who said a novena and it worked for them. So even if you don’t believe in everything stated in a prayer, it can still be effective.
More Holy Water.
To make more holy water:
• One drop of existing holy water added to water of any amount to bless it.
Example: I added a drop of Lourdes water to a little spray bottle full of purified drinking water, and done.
Simple Witchy Things.
Simple witchy things I wrote down a long while back for myself:
• Can’t burn candles? Use LED candles instead.
• Don’t have colored candles for specific intentions? Write your intentions on a piece of paper with markers of similar colors. Then put it under your available candle.
• Can’t burn paper for spells? Use water-soluble paper to dissolve in water instead. Or just tear the spell paper up and throw it away.
• Can’t bury things or cast things into a body of water? Just chuck them in the trash.
• Can’t burn incense? Use holy/blessed water in a little spray bottle instead.
My motto for art goes for witchy stuff too: Do what you can with what you have.
